Sailing and Moving Rocks and Stones of Death Valley

The mysterious moving stones of the packed-mud desert of Death Valley have been a center of scientific controversy for decades. Rocks weighing up to hundreds of pounds have been known to move up to hundreds of yards at a time. Some scientists have proposed that a combination of strong winds and surface ice account for these movements. However, this theory does not explain evidence of different rocks starting side by side and moving at different rates and in disparate directions. Moreover, the physics calculations do not fully support this theory as wind speeds of hundreds of miles per hour would be needed to move some of the stones. The only explanation of the moving rocks..... is - they traveled 'uphill', (if only a few tenths) across a mud flat that freezes....

And from another time in Detroit, I came home from the midnight shift, at GM deisel and the yard of the house I rented.... was frozen - had a big bubble 10' -15' diameter and raised up 2' - 3' and the ground was moving around.... like a 'wave' - had a water main bust under the frozen front lawn..... I being tired - and 'common sense' ... Pulled my 61 corvette out of the drive and parked it 3 houses 'up-hill', from the leak. I figured if / when the frozen ground busted.... as it did before I got in the house.... the water dept would need the room to fix the leak.......

Wasn't my house - I didn't even bother to call..... But in the afternoon it was all fixed.... and I slept though it all.

Getting back to the rocks.... Now with frozen ground and a slight underground pressure from volcanic area around there.... as the ground slowly freezes from - down-hill from the lake.... to up-hill - this could possibly cause a slight 'mud flat wave', over the frozen ground - to move the rocks 'uphill.' (Actually they are "surfin Rocks!".... "Surfing USA....")

I found the uphill from, another source and that was the 'key', But the one guy's theory of Alien children - with anti gravity machine - messin with our minds.... is another good theory.
